Accommodations Overview
We offer several options for overnight accomodations, from bedrooms with private or shared baths to primitive tent camping. If you intend on staying under a roof, you have a choice of staying in the 1835 Stone House or using the more secluded and modern Guest House.Tent camping is another option, and the three current camping areas are fairly secluded. Even in the summer months it gets cool here in the evenings, so tent camping can be an enjoyable summer treat.
Regardless of where you stay at Sycamore, the property offers several shared amenities. Any of our guests are free to use the hot tub, located on the south terrace of the Stone House. That area also features an outdoor hot and cold shower. A fire ring is located in the pond bottom, to the west of the Stone House. If guests would like a campfire, we'll require advanced notification. An interesting space for sun bathing, cocktails, or star gazing is the Corn Crib, which is located to the immediate west of the barn. Lastly, we maintain nearly a mile of walking trails and these are available for use anytime. Along some paths are mowed sunning areas. Many of the trails thread through clothing-optional areas of the property.
